Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw is one of the oldest artistic universities in Poland and it was celebrating centurial anniversary in 2004. The Academy develops intensively and broadens its field of activity. Recently, during last 5 years, three new faculties were established. Today there are 9 faculties at the Academy, where more than 1500 students study at the moment and most of them pay no tuition. ASP cooperates with some public parters – Warsaw Capital Municipality, Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritrage (MKiDN) www.mkidn.gov.pl/, Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE) www.frse.org.pl/, Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW) www.nauka.gov.pl/en/ – and also the private ones (m.in. Nokia, Ikea, Siemens, Slamander). It develops international activity and cooperation with other universities: Erasmus programme, international cooperation within Bergen Academy of Fine Arts and Design (Norway), Brumen Foundation (Slovenia).
